Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by Mustafa. This meeting was on March 5th and was held at the Speakeasy in Bayside.
Prior Meeting Minutes: December meeting minutes were approved with one change. The deposit for Road America should have been listed as $2000 instead of $10000.
Treasurer's Report: Report not available.
Membership: Report not available.
Old Business:
Meeting Location and Day – Meetings will be moved back to the second Thursday of the month. The next meeting will be held on April 12th. Mary will check with the Shorewood library about using their meeting room.
Bucks Game – Dave reported that about 10 people did attend but at least 4 tickets weren't picked up and paid for. Dave will contact whose that didn't show and collect the money for the tickets.
Wash and Polish – Knauz was interested in hosting the event but can't do it on a Saturday. Mustafa will check with a club member who knows a body shop in Port Washington to see if we could use their parking lot.
Ski Event – Mary reported that 6 people have signed up for the ski event to be held on March 10th and 11th.
Speed Events – We discussed the Road America contract. Clarence will review the contract. The contract was approved pending attorney approval. We also discussed who is available to help CR with the speed events. Mary will handle registration and Jay, Greg, Mike and Dave are also available to help. Mustafa will talk to CR to determine what help he needs.
New business
MGA Car Control Clinic – Tentative date is July 14th. This is the day after the lapping day at Black Hawk. Jay will talk to Mike about the possibility of changing to a date earlier in the year.
Immer – Deadline for the next issue is 3/23. We will now be publishing the Immer on a monthly basis.
Club Race – The race is scheduled for the last weekend of Octoberfest and may be cancelled due to lack of racers. We need 18 to 20 to break even and we may not be able to get that may due to club race and other events at Octoberfest.
Car Show – The ride about has been firmed up. The course will be marked with hay bales and go through both the city of Jefferson and the country side around Jefferson. There will be a parade lap for registered cars and then rides will be offered to the public for $10 to $15. The fees for this year are $15 to show a car, $15 for the ride about or $25 for both events.
Adjournment: Mustafa adjourned the meeting at 8:50. The next meeting will be held on April 12th at the Shorewood Library. Mary has arranged for the April and May meetings to be held at the Shorewood Library. After May we will have to find another location due to construction at the library.
