Attendance: Mike Clemens, Mary Medo, Clarence Behrend,  Dave Herr, Will Duffy, CR

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:10pm by Mary. This meeting was on May 10th and was held at the Shorewood library.

Prior Meeting Minutes: April meeting minutes were approved with 3 changes.  The Blackhawk event in May is on the 13th and the car control clinic is on July 14th not May 14th.  Also the April meeting minutes stated that the board voted to cancel the club race in August.  This was discussed but not actually voted by the board.

Treasurer's Report: Will presented a report covering April 12th to May 10th.  Deposits of $2,673.29 were made along with disbursements of $2,152.50. The balance in the checking account as of May 10th is $8,779.00. The $3,000 CD was cashed and deposited in the checking account.  The proceeds from the CD were $3,162. This brings the checking account balance to $11,941.

Membership: No report – membership information not available.

Old Business:

Buck Game – Dave reported that 12 people attended the Bucks game and that we lost $16 on the event.

Car Show – Clarence reported that sponsors had been obtained for the event.  Sentry Foods and the Tavern League of Jefferson County will both be contributing sponsorship money.

MGA Car Control Clinic – A question a raised about insurance for the car control clinic.  In the past we have obtained insurance from Peterson. The event is insured as a low speed event.

Road Rally – Since no one has stepped up to run this event it is being removed from the club calendar.

OctoberFast – We discussed a few things about the event and then decided to defer further discussion to a meeting of the speed events committee.

BlackHawk Mary reported that we are having problems getting the insurance setup for the 2 lapping days.  We have received the certificates but have not received any bills.  The board decided to send Peterson Insurance checks for both events. Mary will follow up with Peterson and the track to make sure things are setup correctly.

Meeting Location – Mike reported that the Mequon/Thiensville library will let us use their meeting room for our monthly meetings. There is no charge for non-profit organizations.  The library closes at 8:30 so we would like to move the start time of the meeting to 6:30 from 7:00. If the setup at the library is acceptable we will be able to reserve the room through the rest of the year. The Mequon/Thiensville library is located on Green Bay avenue (highway 57) just north of Mequon road.

Club Race – Mustafa is still trying to get the race organized. He is looking for people to help with the organization and be at the race to do registration and other activities.

New business

Club Picnic – The picnic is scheduled for July 29th.  We need someone to step up and take ownership of this event. Anyone that is interested should contact Mustafa.

Adjournment: Mary adjourned the meeting at 8:00.  The next meeting will be held on June 14th at the Mequon/Thiensville Library.
