Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:10 by Darcy.  This meeting was on September 13^th and was held at the Mequon/Thiensville library.

Prior Meeting Minutes: The August meeting minutes were approved. 

Treasurer's Report: Will presented a report covering August 9^th to September 13^th.. The beginning balance was 22,369.09, deposits were 20,319.89, disbursements were 5,340.62 giving a balance of 37,348.36 in the checking account. We also have a $5,500.00 certificate of deposit giving an overall balance of $42,848.36  We received insurance rebates for the 2 Blackhawk events.

Membership: 38 renewing members, 21 non-renewing, 624 current members.

Old Business:

Edelweiss cruise: Was held as scheduled. We lost about $330.00 on the event.

OctoberFast: Mary reported a total of 54 students and 46 instructors/lappers have already registered. A work meeting was scheduled to assemble the packets for the event. Almost everything is in place for the event.

Fall tour: Our sponsored fall tour has been cancelled.  We will offer members information about a tour run by another organization.

Holiday Party: The contract for the holiday party at the Astor will be assigned and a deposit check will be sent.  Darcy will handle this.  We should being collecting raffle prizes for the party.  We will contact the dealers and others for prizes.

New business

Elections: A nominating committee will begin looking for candidates for vice president, secretary and board positions.  Jay will send an email to the distribution list asking if anyone is interested in running for office.

New Events: We will try to find a place to hold a chili tasting party.  We will check with the 2 BMW dealers as well as some of the BMW repair shops.  We also scheduled a December event on 12/16 at the Champs sports bar in Brookfield to watch a Packers game.

Adjournment: Darcy adjourned the meeting at 8:15. The next meeting will be held on October 11^th at the Mequon/Thiensville Library.
