Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:15 by Darcy. This meeting was on December 13th and was held at the Mequon/Thiensville library.
Prior Meeting Minutes: The November meeting minutes were approved.
Treasurer's Report: Will's report covered November 8th to December 13th. The beginning balance was 19,589.78, deposits were 3,916.02, disbursements were 2,182.27 giving a balance of 21,323,53 in the checking account. We also have a $5,500.00 certificate of deposit giving an overall balance of $26,823.53.
Membership: 746 members, 17 new, 30 renewing.
Old Business:
Benz Club - Jerry Zajicek and Scott Lowry from the Benz club were present and discussed joint events such as the Chicago Auto Show bus trip, road rallies, car control clinic and drivers school events. We agreed it made sense to allow members from each club to attend the other clubs events. They express some interest in the car control clinic and our track events. We expressed interest in the road rallies they hold. Scott can be contacted at (262) 542-1416.
Holiday Party – Darcy reported that all was set for the holiday party. More raffle prizes are needed. We agreed to contribute attendance at the car control clinic and OctoberFast.
Immer Advertising – Mustafa reported that the Little Car Shop has been invoiced.
Club Race – We still need to collect funds from IA and Concours for last years club race.
Packer Game – Event at Champs to watch Packer game is scheduled for December 16th.
Elections – Running for office - Joe Conway – Secretary, Darcy Yench – Vice President, Mike Clemens, John Morgan and Jay Schmidt – Board Members.
New business:
Winter Driving Clinic – Mike will work with Audi group to see what can be setup. If the weather doesn't change there won't be any place to hold the event.
Car Control Clinic – Clarence suggested we check other locations for the car control clinic.
Officers/Director Insurance – Mustafa will research getting insurance for club officers and directors.
Immer Deadline – Clarence said that the deadline for the next Immer was 12/15/01.
Adjournment: Darcy adjourned the meeting at 8:20. The next meeting will be held on February 14th at the Silver Spring House starting at 7pm.
