Minutes for Badger Bimmer BMW Club Board Meeting
Calderone Club – 3rd Street Downtown
August 14, 2003
Attendance: Darcy Yench, John Lofgren, Paul Szedziewski, David Schnitzer, Steve Werner, Joe Conway.
Call to Order: 7:20 pm by Darcy
Secretary's Report: Approved
Treasurer's Report: $48,776.47 approved
Membership: 24 new members, 861 total members
Old Business:
Blackhawk Another great success. Profit/Loss for Blackhawk school will be reported in September.
Car Control Clinic Per David, the event went wonderfully. There was discussion about pursuing other locations. The Miller Park parking lot may be both smoother and less expensive than the State Fair lot. Further discussion regarding earlier advertising for the 2004 event, through various means. Everyone congratulated Chris for a job well done.
Cones – Steve obtained 100, 12" high new cones. Darcy has the cones.
Annual Dinner – At Jack Pandl's Bayside restaurant.
OctoberFAST: The club has collected $7,587 for the school so far. 13 people have signed up for dinner at Siebkens.

Milwaukee Riverwalk Boat Tour Sat. September 6th –.[ Cancelled ]
Fall Clean Up - Jerry Zajicek, Paul S. - Oct 18th, 10:30 – 2:30 at O'Reilly's There will be no charge. Paul will coordinate provision of food and beverages and follow up with Jeff re: insurance requirements.
New Business:
- Jeff Joy will coordinate upcoming go cart driving events.
- Steve Werner will coordinate the fall tour. He will submit preliminary information in the September bimmer immer.
- Joe will talk with Greg Smith regarding continuation of the club e-mail list.
- At the September board meeting, we plan to elect a nominating committee for the Fall Elections
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 pm. The next meeting will be held on Sept. 11th at Mader's German restaurant on North Old World 3rd Street, downtown, at 7 pm.
