Badger Bimmer BMW Club Board Meeting

Attendance: Mustafa Emir, Darcy Yench, Steve Werner, Don Gawronski, Erik Ivarson, Joe Conway, Dave Herr, Will Duffy, Paul Szedziewski, Leslie Ivarson
Call to Order: 7:30 pm by Mustafa. Joe took minutes
Secretary's Report: Approved
Treasurer's Report: Will provided a treasurers report. The club has total funds of $35,892.
Membership: 18 new members, 808 total members
Old Business:
Member Badges: Blanks of the badges have arrived. Joe will coordinate lettering the badges with the supplier (National Trophy of Menominee Falls) as requests are made and for Holiday Party participants.
Badger Bimmer Committees: Mustafa will generate a page defining the committees for publication in the immer and on the web page. He will also draft an advertising contract.
Advertising Contracts: Greg Smith worked up a few sample letters to send out and some information for Joe and Don to use to help get advertising for the IMMER. We still need a contract for advertising with us.
Upcoming Elections: Nominating Committee for 2003 officers: 2 board members are open. Nominees will be John Lofgren, Steve Werner and Chris Fredette. David Schnitzer has been nominated for the treasurers position and Jeff Joy has been nominated for President.
New Business:
Current Board: John Morgan will resign his board position this year.
Immer editor: Mustafa will replace Joe as editor and continue to work with Don Gawronski to publish the immer.
Immer Mailing: The mailing list is incomplete as supplied by BMW CCA. Joe will compare information and update the mailing list.
Holiday Party: The party will be held the 3rd Saturday of January, the week before the Super Bowl (Jan. 18, 2003). Board members will be contacting downtown venues for rates and availability. Estimated charge will be $25.00 per member.
Adjournment: Mustafa adjourned the meeting at 8:19 pm. The next meeting will be held on November 14th at 7:00 PM. Location is upstairs at the BBC on the NW corner of North Ave. and Farwell, Milwaukee, WI
