Minutes for Badger Bimmer BMW Club Board Meeting

Attendance: Jeff Joy, Darcy Yench, John Lofgren, Paul Szedziewski, David Schnitzer, Mustafa Emir, Don Gawronski, Sarah Erdmann, don't know the rest, forgot to write them down, sorry.
Call to Order: 7:15 pm by Jeff Joy
Secretary's Report: Approved
Treasurer's Report: $39,019.21 approved
Membership: 18 new members, 843 total members
Old Business:
IMMER: May 24th deadline for June IMMER
Blackhawk The registration form is ready and Darcy has sent it out to emails she has from address book. Also, has registered these two events to go into the Roundel calendar. Stiil have to get insurance.
Paul - Gingerman update 10 Badger Bimmers going. School is full. Everyone who registered should receive a tech form in the mail.
Car Control Clinic Chris Fredette update no report
Cones Steve still haven't gotten the treasurers information from Will Duffy so we don't have the receipt to get the Co. info from.
Annual Dinner per Leslie, have looked at list but Leslie & Sarah will meet later this month. Also checking into maybe moving the event to Pandl's in Bayside. John will try to contact David Hobbs.
Wash, Polish, Wax Party 13 people attended the event. Two new members were there Marc Cayle, Milw. and Steve Castle, Racine. There were good eats and lots of shiny cars left O'Reily's. Mike had three guys there to wash cars for us. Thanks to Mike Loos for sponsoring the event. Thanks also to Dave, Peter and Ory for washing our cars. Article and pictures in the next IMMER.
OFAST: Registration form will be ready and go out in the next IMMER. Still looking for volunteers to help with clean tech, exercises, etc.
Driving Events Committee: Aaron Ford, Mike Clemens, Paul S, Chris Fredette. Mary Medo and Darcy Yench met on Tuesday, April 22nd at Mike Clemens work place, VISA in Brookfield. They did some preliminary planning for volunteers needed to staff the events. CCC, BHF and OFAST were all planned for. More volunteers are needed.
Autocross Paul update check cashed for sponsoring the June 29th event. Will give out mugs to the BMW participants.
The Car Show was moved to June 22, 2003 at International Autos. David updated the move to Sunday so there will be no cars in the showroom for our show. Article went in the IMMER. $300. or less for trophies, glass. International will supply food, beer and drinks. They also have cool door prizes for us. Talk it up!
Milwaukee Riverwalk Boat Tour Sat. September 6th John Lofgren said the cost will be $10.00 per person. The event will start in the early afternoon. John will have something in the next IMMER.
New Business:
Jerry Zajicek, member is interested in hosting an event this fall to feature paint, interior wheel and trim cleaning and conditioning products he distributes as something like a Fall, clean and prep for winter or for putting the summer car to bed for the winter. He was interested and was going to talk with his supplier/distributor about bringing products, to try, buy, etc and do a show and tell. Will try to set it up for October 18th . Paul will follow up with this.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 pm. The next meeting will be held on June 12th at the Calderone Club downtown on 842 N. Old World 3rd St. at 7 pm. Come and join us. Board meetings are open to ALL MEMBERS!
